Site Updates

A new content management system for the entire site - along with a graphical overhaul - is in the works, but is on hold while I finish my dissertation.

In the mean time, because it's easier to use than the shoutbox, I've revived the forum at forum.lukewallin.co.uk. I'm hosting it myself so it won't be as reliable as the rest of the site, and indeed won't be reliable at all for a couple more weeks.

Also, until it gets finished properly and finds a home on the site, new trees:

Harmonograph Simulator

For some reason on thursday/friday I decided to stay up all night and write a harmonograph simulator in javascript. It's quite funky. Enjoy!

Scribble!

Scribble, an AJAX powered app for sharing diagrams is finally finished! (which is to say I've turned off all the features that aren't).

Go use it :P

2D Sandbox 4

After a long, long wait, 2D sandbox 4 is sufficiently finished to go public. There are many many more features I want to add and the GUI could do with a lot of polish, but it is sufficiently stable to be released publicly.

Old Stuff is New

There's lots and lots needs doing to this site that I've been putting off for a long time, however there were a few things I could quickly fix, and so here they are:

Planet Wars 2 Beta

And Spider Solitaire is now on the card games page

Planet wars 2 online multiplayer will be finished one day, but probably not until the next summer holiday at least.

It would be great to see this on Github. This is amazing work, I'm about to use it to replace my poor attempt at a 2-D scroller's collision detection system. Cheers.

As in, pseudo-3D? Nothing built in to do that, but shouldn't be too hard to adapt the renderer.

Curious if isometric support is built-in to the engine?
