Pegs

Open in Seperate Window

How to Play

The aim of Pegs is to logically deduce the colours and locations of the hidden pegs.

After placing 4 pegs on the board click Ready to see how many were right. A black marker means one was the right colour and in the right place, a white marker means one peg was the right colour but in the wrong place.

You have only 8 attempts to get all the pegs right.

On easy there are only six colours and each peg will be a different colour. On medium there can be repetitions. On hard there are eight colours and on mastermind there are eight colour and repetitions.

Hints and Tips

  • It's worth using up a couple of rows to learn how many colours there are in total.
  • Avoid placing a colour in the same position as a previous row - you need as much information as you can get to find its exact position.

There's a copy of the sandbox here but I'm not sure how up to date it is. Also the saving/loading won't work without a php server

fyi, your awesome divwindows script doesnt work correctly when the window is created in an external script. so I had to fix it to where the window events refer to windows[windownumber] instead of the variable that the window was assigned to. thanks for it though!

Graph plotter breaks whenever a term goes to infinity at 0, if you just detected this then plotted at 0.000001 and -0.000001 instead, then it would fix it (and similarly for other infinities)
